Gas exploded in six residential buildings in Tyumen

A series of household gas explosions occurred in six private houses on Vesennyaya Street in the Metelev microdistrict in Tyumen. A criminal case was initiated on the facts of the explosion.

“The case is qualified under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (performance of work or provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers)", - Interfax reports.

A local resident injured in the explosion was taken to hospital.

As the specialists of JSC Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie Sever found out, the application was received by the company's emergency service at 13:43 local time. A local resident complained of increased gas pressure. When the experts went to the site, because of gas explosions in one house, there was smoke, and fires started in two.

“At the moment, 249 subscribers, 3 legal entities have been disconnected from the gas supply system. All the circumstances are being clarified, ”the news agency notes.

As specified in the TFR, now investigators and forensic experts are conducting investigative actions at the scene of the incident: examination, search and seizure of material evidence, interrogation of witnesses.
