The incident became known from the online broadcast of the NGS55 portal. The correspondent of the publication reported that in the first ambulance, which drove up to the Ministry of Health at 22:00, there was an 80-year-old patient in serious condition. From 11 o'clock in the morning she was taken to various medical institutions, and in each of them they refused to admit the patient, citing a lack of places.
A second ambulance later brought in another seriously ill patient.
The police arrived at the scene. In 20 minutes all ambulances drove away from the building of the Ministry of Health. The operational headquarters only commented on the situation after receiving it.
"Doctors of the ambulance attracted attention by the switched on alarm system and made a statement that they were unable to transfer patients to the hospital of a medical institution. The Ministry of Health responded to the situation", - informs RIA Novosti.
The headquarters indicated that “the patients were admitted to the hospital of emergency medical service No. 2. An official investigation has been launched into the incident in the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region. At present, the work of the ambulance service is under special control".
On the morning of October 28, journalists were told by the Ministry of Health that “the patients brought to the hospital at night are alive. They receive the necessary treatment".
Earlier it was reported that in Omsk the townspeople are forced to buy drugs from their hands due to the lack of drugs in pharmacies.
