An atypical symptom of covid has been identified

Scientists indicate that many patients diagnosed with coronavirus have reddened and swollen toes and feet, writes The Telegraph.

Experts clarify that this phenomenon is similar to frostbite and lasted up to four weeks. Moreover, in some patients, the symptom persisted for several months.

So far, scientists have not established what is the reason for this manifestation of infection.

Recall that earlier, scientists from the University of College London and the Royal Committee announced another symptom of covid infection - hearing changes. According to their observations, patients complained of tinnitus, and some of them lost their hearing altogether.

Before that, it became known that people who have had COVID-19 risk in the future not only becoming victims of pulmonary complications, but also Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Scientists also believe that kidney disease more than doubles the risk of death in coronavirus.
