Yesterday was 5 years of the Sinai tragedy, when the flight of the Kogalymavia company, carrying 224 people, including the crew, crashed. The official version is a terrorist attack. This version was confirmed by technical expertise, the exact place and weight of the explosives were established. ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), more precisely, the Sinai group Ansar Beit al Maqdis, which took the bayat oath to the Caliph Al-Baghdadi, was accused of organizing and carrying out the attack.
The bulk of the dead were from St. Petersburg, so a three-day mourning was declared in St. Petersburg.
Publicist Anatoly Nesmiyan discusses the true causes of this tragedy in his blog:
“In general, the terrorist attack is extremely strange, every year on this day I describe these oddities, but they do not become clearer. Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, in addition to being affiliated with ISIS (banned in the Russian Federation - ed.), Had close ties and actual funding from Qatar, which by that time was thrown out of Egypt after the coup of 13 years, when the Egyptian military returned to power targeting Saudi Arabia. From that moment on, Qatar's position in the region, which had greatly strengthened after the events of 2011, began to deteriorate sharply. The Qatari elite late assessed what was happening, and tried to seize the initiative, actually carrying out an internal coup, during which Emir Hamad Khalifa at-Thani handed over power to his son, but it was too late - a few days later the Egyptian military announced the overthrow of Egyptian President Mursi, focused strictly on Qatar.
After the loss of Egypt and control over the Suez Canal, where Qatar was ready to invest several tens of billions of dollars (about which agreements were reached with Morsi), Qatar relied on a counter-coup, rocking the military regime. The Ansar Beit al-Maqdis group is one of a number of radical and terrorist groups operating in Egypt, mainly in the Sinai. The militants attacked industrial infrastructure facilities, the Egyptian army and police, and the tourism industry. The goal is to undermine the regime and create maximum difficulties for Egypt in the economy, counting on social discontent with the new authorities.
In this sense, the terrorist attack on a Russian plane looks absolutely logical from the point of view of Qatar and its proxy measures against Egypt. Russian tourists were one of the largest groups of tourists in Egypt, their loss meant a disaster for the entire tourism industry in Egypt, which brings relatively stable income to the country's budget. The strike on the Russian plane had nothing to do with Russia - it was "lucky" only because the closure of the tourist route was one of the objectives of the Qatar-Saudi Arabia war in Egypt. In fact, Russia has become a bargaining chip in someone else's war. In this sense, the refusal to resume tourist communication with Egypt looks logical - we have nothing to do with your war, sort it out without us. The fact that to this day the travel message has not been resumed in the same volumes, only indicates that the war between Qatar and Saudi Arabia continues.
Indirectly, the terrorist attack testifies to the sharply fallen international image of Russia - Qatar organized a terrorist attack with a Russian plane, absolutely not worrying about a response - the Qatari nobility is firmly connected with the globalist oligarchy and is confident in its complete impunity in this case.
By the way, the fact that the Kremlin swallowed the slap inflicted on him by Qatar in Egypt very soon led to a knife in the back from Erdogan's friend - less than a month after the Sinai terrorist attack, a Russian military plane was shot down in Syria, and the Turks were also absolutely sure that Putin would not dare to answer, just as he did not dare to answer Qatar. And they were right.
In fact, 224 Russian citizens became victims of someone else's war..."
