A nationwide collection of signatures in support of the former governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Furgal will begin on November 4.

The gathering was organized at the request of the ex-official's lawyers. In a collective appeal, citizens are asked to change the measure of restraint for the former head of the region and hold an open meeting on his case.

On November 4, signature collection points will open in Khabarovsk, signatures will be accepted in Amursk on November 3, 5, 6 and 9, today - in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the village of Vanino and the village of Topolevo, Khabarovsk Territory. November 7 - in Moscow, in St. Petersburg from November 3 to 5, November 4 - in Novosibirsk. It is also reported about the collection of signatures in Ussuriysk, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd and Voronezh.

- If the authorities say that there is evidence of a person's guilt, then let them present it publicly. This requires collecting as many signatures as possible. Belonging to the Khabarovsk Territory is not required here, so all Russian cities can participate. It is important that the signatures are handwritten, - said Rostislav Buryak, the head of the signature collection process, the owner of the van.

Let us recall that in Khabarovsk, actions in support of the former head of the region, Sergey Furgal, have been continuing for more than a hundred days , who is accused of organizing the murders 15 years ago.

At the same time, Furgala's fellow party member, LDPR representative Mikhail Degtyarev, appointed acting governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, trying to win the trust of residents, created the People's Council. However, ten people have already left this body due to the dispersal of the peaceful "Furgal" rally by the security forces. In addition, at every action, Khabarovsk residents demand the resignation of the interim.

The situation has become aggravated now, when the region beats its own anti-records for the incidence of coronavirus infection. There is an acute shortage of doctors, drugs and places in covid hospitals in the region. Degtyarev also announced the suspension of routine medical care in the region.

Recall that the Liberal Democratic Party is the ruling party in the Khabarovsk Territory, but about what happened to Furgal, the regional liberal democrats prefer to "keep silent". Their inaction was pointed out by the deputy of the regional Zakduma Pyotr Yemelyanov, who left the party against the background of Degtyarev's appointment to the interim post. He called for the dissolution of Zakduma, calling it "fiction", and the deputies - "a mass without personality and opinion".
