Body of alleged Skilbox co-founder was found in Sochi

The body was found 300 meters from the coast, 250 meters from the port of Imeretinsky, Interfax indicates, referring to the Sochi Department of Internal Affairs. The department said that the body was found by a wakeboard coach while he was training with the group.

Until the identification has been carried out, it cannot be argued that this is the body of the missing Koropov.

Let us recall that the Krasnodar investigators initiated an investigation into the disappearance of Koropov. He reportedly left the hotel on November 1 and headed for the pier. He was supposed to get in touch on November 2, but he never did it.

On November 4, on the beach of the Imeretinskaya lowland in Sochi, his belongings were found: a backpack, a scooter and a telephone.

Yesterday, rescuers suspended the search for the missing person.

Igor Koropov previously owned the Mokselle marketing agency. In 2016, the project spun off into a separate company Skillbox. In four years, from two courses in web design and web development, Skillbox has grown to 150 programs with 40,000 students. The project turnover in 2018 amounted to 340 million rubles, in February 2019 Mail.ru Group became a co-owner of Skillbox.
