He said that patients with coronavirus COVID-19 no longer have enough places and offered to open a hospital on the basis of a local military unit.

Employees of other medical institutions also complain about the situation in Khakassia due to the coronavirus pandemic. They note that patients in hospitals do not always have the opportunity to receive additional oxygen, - the website of the radio station Ekho Moskvy reports.

"We take patients to hospitals for the sake of a formal reply, so that doctors relieve themselves of responsibility. They are sent home for treatment. The places that are allocated are sorely lacking. What is allocated, they are slaughtered literally in a day or two. The Ministry of Health, the government - everything shout with one voice that we are all right with medicine, we have medicines. And there are no medicines or antibiotics in pharmacies. According to the authors of the appeal, they have to stand with seriously ill, suffocating patients, sometimes without oxygen in the car for several hours while waiting for their hospitalization, and a pack of paracetamol in pharmacies has risen from 15 to 78 rubles.

Minister of Health of Khakassia Viktor Shevchenko says that in the near future, additional beds for patients with COVID-19 in Sayanogorsk and Ust-Abakan will be deployed in the region, and after that the bed capacity in the region will exceed 1000 units, notes shansonline.ru.
