SpaceX's crewed Crew Dragon successfully docked at 7:01 am (Moscow time) to the Harmony module of the American segment of the International Space Station (ISS), NASA reports.

Astronaut Kees Rubens on the ISS opened the hatch of the American module for the crew from the arrived Crew Dragon. The docking is broadcast live by NASA.

"Flight engineer of the 64th crew of the ISS Keith Rubins opened the hatch of the module "Harmony"", - said the host of the broadcast.

Work is currently underway to equalize the pressure in the airlock so that the crew can leave Crew Dragon.

The crew has already taken off the spacesuits in which they were during docking in order to dry them.

Let us recall that SpaceX's manned spacecraft Elon Musk with four astronauts on board launched from the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral yesterday, November 16. There are three American astronauts and an astronaut from Japan on board.

Meanwhile, Roscosmos has swung at the construction of a competitor, Crew Dragon. The state corporation has already agreed with the private company MGTS on cooperation in the creation of a reusable transport spacecraft. But at the same time the agreement was called “framework” and it was clarified that the document does not contain any obligations.

Earlier, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin published an article in Forbes magazine about the launch of the American spacecraft Crew Gragon. The material that came out from the pen of Rogozin is called "This is their war, not ours." The head of SpaceX wrote in a commentary to the article: "This is something!".
