"To date, more than 275 thousand students have been transferred to distance learning (the total contingent of schoolchildren is 16.8 million), 31 schools have been quarantined. These measures are individual in nature in the regions, built on the basis of a specific situation", - said Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
She clarified that of the four million students, 2.4 million - that is, almost 60% of the total contingent - have already been transferred to distance learning. A little over one million are studying in a mixed form.
In the meantime, MSU students are confident that the quality of education has deteriorated due to the transfer to distance learning: libraries have been closed, students have lost access to practical classes in laboratories, and many lectures transferred to distance learning are disrupted due to the technical unavailability of teachers and a weak Internet connection... They filed a lawsuit demanding a recalculation of tuition fees in connection with the transfer to distance education.
As for the school "remote control", then teachers, children and parents are outraged. Moreover, the level of discontent has grown so much that it has come to meetings and petitions addressed to the president. Recall that the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Dmitry Glushko informed that 56% of students in Russian schools remain in full-time education. And some of the children study in various mixed forms.
Let us note that in St. Petersburg schools, the number of classes that are quarantined for covid or ARVI has increased to 65. In addition, 18 kindergarten groups are closed in the city.
On November 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova reported that 91 thousand students, 2.2 million students were transferred to distance learning, and 29 schools were closed for quarantine.
