Rospotrebnadzor called shortness of breath "the most formidable symptom" of covid

In case of shortness of breath against the background of other respiratory symptoms, you should immediately consult a doctor, said Natalya Pshenichnaya, deputy director for clinical and analytical work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights).

"The most formidable symptom is the appearance of shortness of breath against the background of respiratory symptoms", - TASS quotes Pshenichnaya as saying.

She recalled that during a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection, the combination of respiratory symptoms with loss of smell, as a rule, indicates the development of coronavirus. But even this combination cannot be called specific, since it is found in other diseases as well.

Earlier, Wheat pointed out that a rash on the legs may also indicate a coronavirus disease.

Let us recall that British doctors have found four symptoms that appear at an early stage of COVID-19 infection. According to them, almost one in five people who become ill experience loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and stomach pain.
