It will take about two months to fully restore power supply in the areas of the city of Vladivostok affected by the disaster. This was announced by the Minister for the Development of the Far East Alexey Chekunkov.

“The city has not yet returned to its usual life. The power supply is still carried out from reserve sources. The restoration of power supply systems and the transition to a permanent scheme will take up to two months”, - the minister commented during a government meeting, adding that power supply to social institutions is still carried out from 16 backup power sources, and 12 heating points have been deployed for local residents.

Now, about 9.6 thousand residents of Primorye from 41 apartment buildings and almost two thousand private houses are still without electricity and heat. “About four thousand gas stoves and 50 thousand gas cylinders were handed over to the residents of the city for heating apartments and houses”, - the minister added. About three thousand rescuers and about a thousand pieces of equipment were involved in the restoration of damaged poles and power lines.

We will remind, heavy rain with snow fell in Primorye on 18 and 19 November. Network load withstood not been damaged almost 100 km of transmission lines 850 and supports out of order approximately 1.6 thousands transformer substations.
