A single number for calling doctors in the case of coronavirus appeared in regions

In the regions of Russia, a unified telephone number 122 has been introduced, by which you can call a doctor or an ambulance in case of a coronavirus disease. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.

According to him, a single number will allow centralizing calls to call centers that will appear in the regions of the country, and provide prompt routing - polyclinics, ambulance stations or other services. At the moment, 27 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have already joined this work.

“We are ready to provide technical and financial support, but the main condition is the involvement of the heads of the subjects in the process of organizing work and their control. This is a two-way movement, with our support the governors must act in the interests of every person", - Chernyshenko stressed.

Over the past 24 hours, a record number of cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Russia - 27,543. The largest number of cases was recorded in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk regions. At the same time, residents of many regions complain that they cannot get through to polyclinics for hours, and if they do, they wait for doctors for a long time. For example, in Tyumen, you can call a doctor only until 11:00. In this case, doctors can come to the patient at night. In one of the city's polyclinics, the number of home calls to doctors cannot exceed 150 per day.
