RSC Energia claims that Russia is spending too much on the ISS. The circumstances are such that "a lot" is 10-15 billion rubles a year. The ISS will expire in 2024. Energia proposes to curtail cooperation and create a national station.

True, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, believes that despite the fact that the shelf life of some of the modules of the International Space Station has already expired, there is no reason to refuse it. “I think it's too early to write off the station”, - he said.

Rogozin confirmed that some of the ISS modules "significantly" exceeded their 15-year warranty. At the same time, according to him, the Soviet-Russian manned orbital station Mir also had similar problems. “At the Mir station, we also had to decommission some of the modules, but this did not become a reason for conclusions about the aging of the entire station,” Rogozin believes.
