A maniac who killed pensioners was detained in Tatarstan

It is noted that the serial killer committed his crimes in 2011-2013. Unofficially, he was nicknamed the “Volga maniac” - it took law enforcement agencies years to find him. The police even promised a reward of three million rubles for information about this criminal.

According to the local news agency inkazan.ru , the alleged killer was waiting for his victims on the street, rubbed into their confidence, penetrated their homes, where he committed his crime. According to a similar scheme, the murders were committed during these years in Kazan, Ufa, Ulyanovsk and Samara, which allowed the investigators to link these cases with one performer. In total, according to the Telegram channel Mash, the maniac dealt with 32 pensioners.

The alleged maniac was detained on December 1. Now, according to media reports, he is testifying. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet confirmed the information.
