This news on the radio station "Komsomolskaya Pravda" was commented on by Doctor of Economics Nikita Krichevsky.
“The State Duma was puzzled by the socialization, as I call it, of the valiant self-employed. What does socialization mean? Today they pay 4% and nothing else.
This is disorder! Because they enjoy the benefits in full.
They even apply for a pension, you know! Although they do not pretend, in fact they can. Therefore, the State Duma decided to develop a bill on the status of the self-employed.
And this, I have to tell you guys, is most likely an extremely unpleasant story, which will end up with the attractiveness and flair of this status declining sharply.
There is a real abyss between the end of this year and last year. Because when at the end of last year we talked about the development of the status of self-employed with one very serious person who is now in charge, we will not say that, in general, self-employment - for some reason it was called a tax on labor income Is an attempt to start instilling a legal tax culture in people.
Well, I got some money, paid 4%, you sleep well and everything is in order.
And I say: why did you allow officials to receive the status of self-employed?
So they stole for an apartment - and they rent it out, and get money from it. But they stole!
And they say to me: let them pay at least 4%. God would be with them! This is how they do it in black, and so in fact at least something.
And the people believed it. Today we have more than 1 million 100 thousand self-employed people in the country. They paid almost 4 billion rubles in taxes.
The story is very attractive to everyone. But then the State Duma came.
I am sure that Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin does not know about this - and, by the way, I don’t know either, but I suppose - which way our legislators will go to bury and ruin this idea.
Once again, we are talking about the fact that our self-employed do not pay either to the health insurance fund or to the social insurance fund, not to mention the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
What options I see for the development of this story.
If a legal entity, some company, for example, a private security company, transferred its employees to self-employed and pays them a fixed amount, and they transfer 4% to the budget, then after the adoption of this law, these employers, who are not formally employers, can oblige to register with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation as employers and transfer to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation contributions for the self-employed in the amount in which they transferred them before.
That is, they will pay plus 22% to the Russian Pension Fund. Well, 5, 1% to the Medical Insurance Fund, I don't know about the Social Insurance Fund. This is one option. And, by the way, a self-employed person, if he works with a legal entity, pays not 4%, but 6% of income.
And if you say that no one will know about us, I will tell you: either the self-employed person who you will expel, it is not known for what, either a neighbor, or an envious person, or - now I’ll say forbidden - the mistress you abandoned, you disgusting typus.
If the Duma members decide to equate the self-employed with individual entrepreneurs, then the whole venture with the self-employed loses any meaning. Because you are an individual entrepreneur, that you are self-employed - the conditions of taxation, contributions become the same.
The only option to avoid the increased taxation in this story may be to show proof of your work for some company that lists taxes for you.
But then the question arises, to whom and how we should prove this.
In short, my friends, I, of course, caught up with horror, I really hope that all this will remain my inventions.
And in fact, this is why it is said: to protect you from these negative nuances that can happen in the State Duma. But you have to keep your ear open".
