Former victim of domestic violence Margarita Grachyova posted on her Instagram pictures from the wedding, which she celebrated with her new husband.

Three years ago, a resident of Serpukhov became the heroine of the story about which all the media wrote. The husband, with whom Margarita was going to divorce, took her to the forest and chopped off both hands with an ax. Moscow surgeons managed to save the left hand by sewing on a brush found in the forest. Instead of the right one, Margarita has a bionic prosthesis, which is directly controlled by brain impulses: the six million it took to buy was collected on social networks.

The ex-husband-rapist is now in prison, he was sentenced to 14 years. And 28-year-old Margarita yesterday published pictures from wedding celebrations: a year ago she and her beloved Maxim signed, and in September of this year they celebrated the wedding and the first year of living together in St. Petersburg.

The couple chose unusual black wedding rings. Margarita admits that she signed with a prosthesis, because it is more convenient to write with them than with her left hand. The wedding was also attended by Margarita's children from her first marriage, six-year-old Danila and seven-year-old Dmitry, who, according to Gracheva, were looking forward to their mother's wedding.
