Putin announced new support measures for families with children from the new year

“We decided to analyze the situation with payments, how they will affect family income. And if these incomes do not reach one living wage per person, then from January 1 of next year, that is, in two weeks, we will pay one living wage for each child”, - the president said.

Putin added that the country has built a good program to support families with children under seven. Now Russians can count on additional benefits for children under 1.5 years old if the income of the parents is less than two living wages. Benefits for children under three years of age to low-income families are paid from maternity capital. For children under seven years old, you can receive an allowance in the amount of half the subsistence level, writes TASS. Since November 1, the procedure for processing these payments has been simplified.

Let us recall that during the spread of the coronavirus, to support families with children, the authorities introduced one-time payments for each child from three to 16 years in the amount of 10 thousand rubles.
