New Year entertainment programs banned in Turkish hotels

There will be no entertainment events in hotels in Turkey on New Year's holidays due to the curfew announced by the country's authorities from 21:00 on December 31 to 5:00 on January 4.

This was reported on the website of the Turkish Interior Ministry. The rules state that hotels will not be allowed to host entertainment programs in honor of the New Year, advertise such events, and programs with music and dancing are prohibited. In addition, after 22:00, any musical accompaniment will be prohibited, including in restaurants.

Earlier it was reported that the curfew would not apply to tourists arriving in Turkey. According to representatives of the country's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, an exception will be made for tourists.

Let us recall that Turkey is now in seventh place in terms of the number of people infected with coronavirus. At the moment, over two million cases have been identified in the country. 18: 3 thousand people died from covid.

At the same time, Turkey has been one of the leaders in tourist demand since the moment when air traffic with a number of countries was resumed.
