Blogger Ilya Varlamov named the most dangerous cities in Russia

Ilya Varlamov posted a video on YouTube, in which he spoke about the most, in his opinion, dangerous Russian cities. The worst of all is in the capital of Tuva, the traveler believes, where 35 murders occur per 100 thousand of the population. Magadan took second place in Varlamov's rating - there the number of murders exceeds the Russian average by five times. The administrative center of the Republic of Buryatia Ulan-Ude closes the top three. Varlamov specified that it was in Ulan-Ude that the popular movement AUE, which was banned on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The list also includes Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don and Shakhty of the Rostov region, Chelyabinsk and Blagoveshchensk.

When compiling the rating, the blogger used the statistics of law enforcement agencies on the number of crimes committed in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Recall that Varlamov wrote a critical post about the city of Shakhty in the Rostov region, which got into the rating.

- The mines are an absolutely magical city. I don’t understand why there is still no international airport in it, where planes stuffed with curious tourists would arrive every day, ” wrote the urbanist.

Then he listed all the "charms" of this place: "for many years it was recognized as the most criminal city in Russia, local residents believe that they are the most inhospitable, here are the lowest salaries in Russia, Chikatilo lived here and committed his first murder."

In 2018 he was made the rating research portal Numbeo 200 of the most dangerous cities in the world. Then Novosibirsk topped the list of Russian cities, and the most dangerous city in the world was San Pedro Sula in Honduras.
