Wreckage of Indonesian crashed plane found in Java Sea

The plane of the Indonesian airline Sriwijaya Air operated a domestic flight from the country's capital, Jakarta, located on the island of Java, to the administrative center of West Kalimantan province, Pantianak. The liner fell into the sea about four minutes after departure from Jakarta, without having time to give any emergency signals. The divers were sent there - the wreckage was quickly discovered thanks to the good visibility in the sea water. Hadi Tchahjanto expressed confidence that the Boeing 737 crashed right here. In turn, the head of the National Search and Rescue Agency of Indonesia, Bagus Puruhito, said that rescuers recorded a signal that could come from the flight recorders of the crashed liner, and now a search for its source has begun.

According to preliminary information, there were no Russian citizens on board the plane, the cause of the tragedy has not yet been named.
