The publicist Dmitry Shulgin drew attention in his publication to one very strange (of many such) fact revealed during the investigation of the storming of the Capitol:
“There is such a famous military unit Fort Bragg - this is one of the main garrisons of the US Army. The base is located primarily in Cumberland County, North Carolina, in the Fayetteville area, and is located on an area of 251 square meters. miles and is named in memory of US Army General Braxton Bragg.
So, soldier Emily Rainey from Fort Bragg "in her spare time" was on ...drum roll ...on the storming of the Capitol. The story is so muddy that the leadership of Fort Bragg tried to quickly hush it up - the girl was asked to immediately resign and declare that she was there simply “I was a private citizen and doing everything right and within my rights” (“I was there as a private person and did everything right and within the framework of my rights”).
But some of the details leaked to the media are alarming.
Firstly, Emily herself admits that she was in Washington at the head of a group of 100 citizens from North Carolina.
Secondly, there were several soldiers from her unit with her.
Thirdly, and this is the most important thing, what kind of subdivision we are talking about here.
Fort Bragg is home to the elite 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), the first Special Forces Command under the US Army Special Operations Command. Within this unit, there is a unique unit called PSYOP (Psychological Operations) - an information warfare department aimed at foreign governments, organizations, groups and individuals.
So, a girl named Emily Rainey is (now it will be more accurate to say - was) an officer of this department with the rank of captain. That is, she is an extra-class specialist in information warfare and "quite by accident" finds herself (and not alone, but together with a group of special forces, her colleagues) at the storming of the Capitol.
Of course, she had nothing to do with it: She said the group attended the rally but she didn't know of anyone who entered the Capitol and that they were headed back to their buses hours before an emergency curfew took effect. (She said the group was present at the rally, but she did not know anyone who entered the Capitol, and they returned to their buses hours before the curfew went into effect.)
Rainey stated: "We are peace-loving, law-abiding people who were doing nothing but demonstrating our First Amendment rights." ("We are peaceful, law-abiding people who did nothing but demonstrate our rights under the First Amendment").
These are the peace-loving special forces from the PSYOP department, trained to conduct disinformation and psychological suppression of the enemy.
As you know, intelligence gathers information, and these guys were from a completely different office - their job is not to collect information, but to introduce deformation into the enemy's camp.
I am not a supporter of conspiracy theories, but the whole story looks very muddy..."
