Boris Grachevsky, the artistic director of the Yeralash children's comic magazine, who was hospitalized with a diagnosis of COVID-19, has died.

This is reported by TASS, referring to the wife of Boris Grachevsky, Yekaterina Belotserkovskaya.

Boris Grachevsky underwent treatment for covid at home, and on December 28 the director had to be hospitalized, he was put on an oxygen mask. On December 31, 71-year-old Grachevsky was transferred to the intensive care unit.

Boris Grachevsky was born in Moscow on March 18, 1949. In 1974, he and playwright Alexander Khmelik created a children's comic newsreel "Yeralash", Grachevsky was director until 1984, and then became its artistic director.

In addition to "Yeralash", Grachevsky is also known for his work on the creation of the films "The Roof" and "Between Notes, or Tantric Symphony".
