Let us remind that the corresponding amendments to the Labor Code were initiated by the deputies of “United Russia” back in July last year. The authors of the initiative argued the proposal by the fact that the work of doctors during this period was associated with an increased risk.

In addition, the deputy head of the Federation Council committee spoke about other benefits for doctors. In particular, they are entitled to a discount on the purchase of a car worth up to one and a half million rubles. The amount of the payment can be up to 375 thousand rubles. Health workers with a certain length of service will be able to privatize the housing given to them. In the regions, this program is already popular.

Earlier it was noted that the promised increased payments to doctors during the spread of the epidemic began to be issued only after doctors began to complain about their non-receipt. At first, doctors were considered increments for hours and minutes spent with coronavirus patients, as a result of which, at the end of the month, they received an increase of 250 rubles, instead of the promised from 25 thousand to 80 thousand, depending on qualifications.
