Ministry of Internal Affairs banned retouching passport photos

"It is not allowed to present a photograph of a citizen with an edited image in order to improve the appearance of the person depicted or its artistic processing. The image must reliably reflect all the features of the person being photographed", - says the new regulation of the department.

Now a person who is photographed for a passport should not wear lenses that change the color of the eyes for a photo, and the frame of glasses should not cover his eyes. Also, tinted glasses are not permitted. It is also prohibited to be photographed on the main document in uniform.

In this case, both color photographs and black and white are allowed. The recipient of the passport must be photographed in full face "with a neutral facial expression, closed mouth and open eyes". Headwear is allowed, but only if required by religious beliefs. In any case, it should not hide the oval of the face.
