The police came to the apartment of the journalist of the Nizhny Novgorod edition of Koza.Press Margarita Murakhtayeva to hand over a summons for interrogation in connection with her participation in an unauthorized rally on 23 January. However, at that time she was not at home.

The journalist told Novaya Gazeta that she is now in St. Petersburg. The summons for her was taken by her father, in relation to whom, according to Murakhtaeva, the police behaved "normally".

The report says that “in the actions of Murakhtaeva there are signs of an administrative offense under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation". However, she herself claims that she attended the rally as a journalist. Murakhtayeva has documents confirming this. However, she intends to report to the police.

“In my opinion, this is a kind of intimidation attempt: the security forces see that a replacement for my mother is growing and are trying to prevent this”, - Murakhtayeva said.

It's worth reminding that Margarita is the daughter of Irina Murakhtayeva - better known under the name of Slavina (pictured). Previously, Slavina was the chief editor of the Koza.Press edition she created. However, on October 2 last year, the journalist committed an act of self-immolation at the building of the Nizhny Novgorod head office. This happened after the searches of the security forces in her apartment.

Currently, the investigating authorities are carrying out the third check in connection with the death of Slavina. As a result of the first two, the institution of criminal proceedings was refused. Note that in her suicide note, Slavina asked to blame the Russian Federation for the incident. Examination revealed that she had a personality disorder.
