The parents of Luca Yupanca, the youngest musician in the world, are bassist of the psycho-rock band Psychical Ills Elizabeth Hart and producer Ivan Diaz Mate, who has collaborated with Lee "Scratch" Perry and other performers, reports The Rolling Stone.
Parents recorded their daughter while she was still in the womb, during five-hour sessions of "joint meditation". Electrodes were attached to Hart's stomach, with the help of which, using "bio-sound MIDI technology", the parents recorded sounds, and then the resulting vibrations were passed through synthesizers. According to Hart and Diaz Mate, when producing, they tried to interfere with the recording as little as possible, so that it remains as raw and close to the sounds that the child produced.
The album Sounds of the Unborn will be released on April 2 via indie label Sacred Bones. According to a press release issued for the release, “This is the first album created by a human in the womb, a reflection of a soul that has not yet seen daylight and has not taken a breath of air. A message from other spheres, from a different level of existence".
