Five people died in an accident near Yekaterinburg

It was established that a VAZ-2110 car with license plates of the Republic of Bashkortostan was moving towards Yekaterinburg down the slope, and at the same time Skoda was driving up towards the village of Mikhailovka.

The driver of the VAZ could not cope with the control, and the cars drove into the oncoming lane. As a result, the cars collided. Four people who were in the top ten, and one person who was traveling in Skoda, were killed. Three victims from Skoda were taken to the Central Regional Hospital of Nizhnye Sereg, to the intensive care unit.

According to the head of the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Valery Gorelykh, a reverse movement is currently organized at the scene of the accident, the cars move slowly, "but without a jam".

The department cites weather conditions as one of the versions of the fatal accident.

"On the territory of the Sverdlovsk region it was raining wet with snow, and in the evening in the north of the Sverdlovsk region it froze sharply", - explained an employee of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
