The largest sums of one-time financial assistance (UMP) to date are in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug - there, in the event of an extreme life situation, citizens can be paid 50 thousand rubles, said Yegor Redin, managing partner of the law firm Positsiya Prava ("Positon of law"), to the Prime agency.
However, the regions may allow the introduction of additional conditions for obtaining an UMP or special grounds for refusing it. For example, the payment may not be given in case of misuse of funds allocated by the state earlier. Also, a refusal can be received due to unregistered social support measures. An immoral lifestyle is also a stop factor for obtaining an UMP.
In some constituent entities of the Russian Federation, you can get additional help under a social contract. With these funds, you can buy the necessary things and even start your own business. But so far this is just an experiment.
It's worth reminding that to assess the needs of citizens when providing a social contract, as well as other support measures - benefits for a child under three years old, payments for children under seven years old from low-income families - the subsistence minimum is applied. Its size in 2021 was 11 653 rubles, for the working-age population - 12,702 rubles, for children - 11,303 rubles, for pensioners - 10,022 ruble.
