Game of Thrones stars will act in the HBO film directed by Balagov

A month ago it became known that the HBO channel invited the director of the films "Dilda" ("Stretch") and "Tightness" to shoot a pilot episode of the series based on the cult computer game Last of Us.

The script of the film is written by the author of "Chernobyl" Craig Mazin. The main roles will be played by the stars of the series "Game of Thrones" and "The Mandalorian" - Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Balagov posted a photo of the actors on his Instagram account, and the Deadline website confirmed the information.

The game takes place 20 years after the disease that turns people into bloodthirsty mutants almost destroyed modern civilization. The main character Joel, one of those who managed to survive, is hired to secretly take 14-year-old Ellie out of the quarantine zone. The journey turns into an eerie adventure.
