RIA Novosti experts have prepared the ninth study, which shows the level of quality of life in the regions for a year. To obtain the result, they used 70 indicators that record the actual state of various aspects of living conditions and situations in the social sphere.
Of the maximum possible 100 points, the capital scored 82.16 points, St. Petersburg - 80.63 points, the Moscow region - 76.07 points.
These three leaders have been around for several years. Moreover, the situation is unlikely to change in the coming years, analysts say, since these regions have a fairly highly developed economy, and the development potential helps them gain a foothold at the top of the rating for a long time.
The top 10 includes Tatarstan, Belgorod Region, Krasnodar Territory, Leningrad Region, Voronezh Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra and Kaliningrad Region. In general, these regions have about 40% of the GRP of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, investment in capital, and trade turnover.
Among the outsiders are Tyva, Transbaikalia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Jewish Autonomous Okrug, Buryatia, Altai Republic, Kurgan Oblast, Ingushetia and Kalmykia. These regions have a low level of income of the population and socio-economic development. In 2020, Kabardino-Balkaria joined the unchanged lagging behind.
At the same time, Sakhalin, Irkutsk region and Dagestan were able to improve their positions. Udmurtia and Krasnoyarsk Territory collapsed in the ranking, having lost eight positions.
It's worth reminding that at the beginning of the month, experts named the regions whose residents have to pay the most on mortgage loans. The most expensive mortgage was in Ingushetia, and the cheapest - in Yakutia.
