The rise in prices for flowers in the Russian market may occur due to their shortage in Holland, where the purchase price has already increased by 50% compared to last year. The situation is aggravated by problems with the supply of flowers, since the Customs Service of the Russian Federation began large-scale checks of trucks carrying flowers from Belarus. It turns out that half of all flowers are imported to Russia through this country, reports Dozhd.

The saddest thing in this situation is the very short shelf life of flowers. At the same time, the customs officials themselves say that bona fide importers will not face problems.
