It's time to get the kayak! Residents of Russian cities are shocked by uncleaned streets (video)

Another snowy winter in Russia is coming to an end and it becomes clear that the public utilities have again failed to cope with it.

Novye Izvestia has already written that the citizens of Russia, including Muscovites, are extremely dissatisfied with the removal of snow on the streets of their cities. No wonder that social networks have filled up photographs showing the work of the country's utilities. Here, for example, what the snowdrifts in front of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg look like.

One resident of St. Petersburg writes about this:

“The snow around my house was raked into huge heaps, in the right lane they turned the surrounding streets from two-lane to single-lane, and it seems that no one is going to take out this snow. The utility workers are waiting for it to melt itself, and it will not melt, but turn into icy bumps..."

However, the situation is no better in "prosperous" Moscow: in it, residents complain, the snow has not been removed for two weeks. With warming, it began to melt, turning into ice covered with water on top, so walking in some places is completely unrealistic. Elderly people especially suffer from this, the risk of falling and breaking a leg is very high.

For example, residents of the Northwestern District of the capital are sure that the winter cleaning in the city has failed completely. The snow has not been cleared even near the building of the prefecture of the North-West Administrative District on the street of the People's Militia.

The public "Blue Buckets" sarcastically remarks: "Moscow is a city where "anomalies" are eternal and all-seasonal... In the video posted in the public, the girl exclaims happily: "It's good that mom didn't take the car with her. But we suspect that my mother also hardly took the kayak with her. And this seems to be the most suitable mode of transport today..."

And what is happening in the provincial cities of Russia is even scary to imagine. The largest number of dissatisfied with snow removal is in Ryazan (76%), Yaroslavl (76%), Vladivostok (74%), Penza (73%), Ulyanovsk (72%) and Nizhny Novgorod (71%).
