According to RIA Novosti, referring to the HeadHunter poll, in early summer the number of job vacancies in the country reached a record 130 thousand.
"By the end of winter, the demand for workers is still high, exceeding by 53% the indicator of the pre-pandemic period last year. Although in the last month of winter 2021 the number of CVs of job seekers from among workers also reached record values in two years - 135.5 thousand, this professional area is characterized by an acute shortage and there are still fewer than two job seekers per vacancy", - analysts say.
Among the most popular working professions were the picker-stacker (12.5 thousand vacancies), the loader (11.6 thousand), the locksmith (10.4 thousand), handyman (9.6 thousand), adjuster (8.6 thousand), mechanic (8.1 thousand), electrician (7.5 thousand), installer (7.2 thousand), electrician / cableman (7 thousand), turner / milling machine (3.8 thousand).
Salaries for these vacancies range from 30 to 90 thousand rubles a month, and four thousand vacancies are offered to applicants up to 120 thousand rubles.
According to experts at the consulting company McKinsey, due to the pandemic, the number of workers who will be forced to change their profession in the next ten years will grow by 12%.
It is noteworthy that the citizens themselves do not exclude that they may soon be replaced by robots at work. 30% of those polled by the "Minority Opinion" Foundation spoke in favor of the likelihood that soon workers will be completely replaced by machines.
