Colleagues from Argumenty i Fakty, Zavtra, Tsargrad, Moskovsky Komsomolets and other media-platforms posted publications on this topic.
Senator Alexey Pushkov and journalist Anna Shafran spoke extremely negatively about the "mobile morgue" in their telegram channels, the information portal of family politics "Ivan-chay" was connected.
"An exhibition worthy of notice by Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs film. I am sure he would have appreciated it”, - Alexey Pushkov wrote in his telegram, expressing extreme bewilderment as to who and why allowed to bring this to Russia.
The direct organizer of the exhibition is Dmitry Protsenko's Rotex LLC, a former co-owner of the Kristall Moscow vodka distillery and a major contractor of international exhibitions. " According to SPARK, Rotex has eight contracts with VDNKh for over 66 million rubles", - Business FM reports.
Preparing the material "Invitation to Hell: An artistic dismemberment is brought to Moscow again", which presents detailed opinions of the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in Moscow Olga Yaroslavskaya, Director of the Center for Geopolitics of the Institute for Fundamental and Applied Research of the Moscow State University Olga Chetverikova; lawyer, assistant to a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, permanent expert and speaker of the second working group on education, upbringing and all-round development of children of the Public Council under the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Yelena Chekan, as well as actress and public figure Maria Shukshina, Novye Izvestia asked the VDNKh press service to comment on who was from the VDNKh leadership and why gave permission to hold such an exhibition in one of the pavilions.
The answer was, literally: "JSC VDNKh has nothing to do with the organization of this exhibition". Well, as people write in numerous comments under the posts and materials about the von Hagens exposition, "money does not smell, and especially in a pandemic".
Meanwhile, before the opening of the "Body worlds" (Body worlds), there are three days left - it is scheduled for March 12.
The CitizenGO platform is actively collecting signatures against the exhibition of dismembered corpses in Moscow.
The petition will be sent to the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin ; the ministers of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova and the head of the Moscow Department of Culture Alexander Kibovsky will also receive copies.
The text of the petition says:
“From March 12, the exhibition BODY WORLDS -“ Worlds of the body ”will open at VDNKh. This "scientific and educational" exhibition was awarded the age qualification 12+.
However, the exhibits are not at all harmless: skinned, cut into slices, divided into organs and then embalmed corpses will be exhibited on an area of 1000 square meters. meters - at VDNKh!
Let's not allow the triumph of cynicism in the center of Moscow! We demand that the exhibition be banned - sign the letter to Mayor Sobyanin!
German anatomist Gunther von Hagens has been making money on death since 1995, when he opened the first BODY WORLDS show in Tokyo. Since then, he has traveled the world, displaying the bodies of the deceased for the amusement of an unintelligible audience. At the moment, permanent exhibitions are open in 4 countries.
At the same time, “Doctor Death” himself (as he is popularly called) was more than once involved in scandals with the illegal purchase and transportation of bodies, but he got out of the water.
Now his interest is attracted by Russia - more than a hundred dead Kyrgyz, Chinese, and - quite likely - Russians will be put in picturesque poses in the center of Moscow with the age qualification "12+".
“There are many children of different ages among the visitors of the exhibition,” the organizers themselves write on the official website.
The highlight of the program is an exhibit depicting a copulating couple, and one of the main collections, called The Cycle of Life, consists of plasticized bodies of pregnant women and unborn children.
We cannot tolerate public mockery of the departed! We won't let Doctor Death hold an exhibition in the center of our capital - sign a petition to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin!
The exhibition is actively promoted and advertised as suitable for families with children and adolescents.
Family tickets for the event are on sale at a deep discount.
That is why, in order to protect our children, we must clearly make the Moscow government understand: we will not tolerate such shameless abuse of human bodies! "
You can sign the petition here.
It is worth reminding the reader that in 2016 the scandalous exhibition Jan Fabre: The Knight of Despair - the Warrior of Beauty was held in the State Hermitage, although it provoked a storm of indignation then, it was not closed.
The exhibition featured over two hundred works by the contemporary Flemish artist Jan Fabre, some of which were created specifically for the Hermitage. As part of the exhibition, the halls were decorated, among other things, with stuffed animals attached to the walls and suspended from the ceiling.
Indignation among many then aroused not only the fact of such a neighborhood - the corpses of animals with the works of outstanding masters of the past centuries, some considered Fabre's attitude towards dead dogs, parrots and other representatives of the fauna to be an unacceptable mockery.
But, by the way, in the case of stuffed birds and animals, the age limit for visiting the exhibition was 16+: children from 12+ are invited to see a human "artistic" dismemberment at VDNKh.
So, following the Main Museum of the country, the Hermitage, the main exhibition of the country, VDNKh, took over the baton of carrion. Novye Izvestia will continue to monitor the situation around the arrival of the Body Worlds project in Moscow.
