User lika_bo writes on LiveJournal that now phrases about a young team can be found in only 10% of job advertisements. The author explains this by the fact that young people simply "suddenly disappeared somewhere." She opened a job search site HH.ru and found that over the entire existence of the portal, 10.3 million resumes were posted on it. At the same time, 3.4 million resumes fell on people between the ages of 18 and 30.
After that, the author of the publication selected a resume for the last month. In total, she found a little over 700 thousand. “You can see for yourself that it seems like young people between the ages of 18 and 30 are present, and there are not so few of them. In terms of the number of job seekers, they are about the same as those who are now 30-40 years old. But only they do not respond to vacancies and do not look for work. This is the Bermuda Triangle: they seem to be there, but at the same time, they are not. Absolutely”, - she notes.
At the same time, over 750 thousand vacancies were posted on this site over the past month. “There are more vacancies than those who want to find a job. Under such conditions, a miracle happened: executives, who had previously been eager for fresh graduates, now ask their recruiters to select for them those who are at least not much more than 60”, - writes lika_bo.
According to her, now there is no problem of finding a job after 40 years. On the contrary, people of this age are "the main young backbone of the organization". “And where, in fact, are all those whom we consider to be young people? Those who are not yet at least 35? But they are not. Not at all. They simply did not give birth. Whoever remembers what happened in the 90s will understand what it is about”, - the author of the publication believes.
According to her, those who were born in the 90s / early 2000s, "in a sense, special children". They do not seek to work, as they are protected by their parents. Those who work are catastrophically few, and employers are no longer fighting for young people, they are satisfied with "comfortable" 40-year-olds - with family, children and mortgages.
