Investigative Committee opened a case against the father of sisters Khachaturian for violence

This is reported by TASS, referring to the lawyers of the Khachaturian sisters.

“A criminal case has been initiated against Mikhail Khachaturyan on torture and sexual acts against his daughters”, - said lawyer Alexey Liptser.

“We have not been officially notified of this yet, but next week they should summon the investigator and recognize the girls as victims”, - added lawyer Alexey Parshin.

It's worth reminding that on February 1, the Moscow City Court returned the criminal case against the elder sisters of Khachaturian, accused of killing their father. The defense also asked to return the case, because contradictions were found in the indictment.

Note that the Moscow City Court on the sixth attempt was unable to select the jury to consider the case of the two older sisters. The younger sister was declared insane at the time of the crime she was charged with.

Krestina, Angelina and Maria Khachaturyan killed their father on July 27, 2018. At the time of the crime they were 19, 18 and 17 years old. Their case caused a wide public outcry. The girls themselves said that they had to take such a step - their father, Mikhail Khachaturian, who was being treated in a neuropsychiatric center, beat them, poisoned them with gas from a can and forced them to incest. The girls attacked the sleeping father and inflicted dozens of stab wounds on him, and also beat him with a hammer.
