Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree stipulating that the amount of payments for children will depend on the family's income. Payments can be 50, 75 or 100% of the subsistence minimum (SM).

"If the size of the average per capita family income, calculated taking into account the monthly payment in the amount of 50% of the subsistence minimum for children, does not exceed the subsistence minimum per capita, the monthly payment is assigned in the amount of 75% of the subsistence minimum for children", - the decree says. published on the portal of legal information.

If the size of the family's average per capita income, calculated taking into account the monthly payment in the amount of 75% of the subsistence allowance for children, is not more than the subsistence minimum per capita, then the monthly payment will be 100% of the subsistence allowance.

The Ministry of Labor clarified that in the near future the country's leadership will approve the rules for providing payments for children from three to seven years, inclusive, for low-income families.

The amount of such payments will be recalculated annually based on the size of the subsistence allowance for children.

Such payments are being made now, from January 1, 2021. Earlier, we recall that the allowance was paid to all families with an income below the subsistence minimum, in the amount of half of the regional subsistence minimum for children.

Citizens can apply for a recount by writing an application - but only after April 1.

Since March 1, we note that parents again have to "run around" with documents: the procedure for simplified "dock-like" registration of benefits is no longer valid.
