Turkey reports missile attack from Syrian side

Russia was notified of the need for a ceasefire from the Syrian side.

At the beginning of the week, Ankara announced that the SAR launched a missile attack on two settlements in the Turkish-controlled northern part of the Aleppo province. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted that disagreements remain between Moscow and Ankara regarding Syria, but interaction on this issue continues. He called the situation "difficult", since "terrorist elements" remain there.

Recall that at the beginning of last year, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on Russian leader Vladimir Putin not to interfere in the confrontation between Turkish troops and the Syrian government army.

“I told Putin: leave us alone with the regime, we will do what is needed ourselves,” Erdogan said.
