Statistics refutes: Muscovites turned out to be not as rich as people in the province think about them

Andrey Nalgin called network analysts completely undeserved the feeling of envy that “rich” Moscow evokes in 86% of Russia's residents. They are simply wrong! - he thinks, and gives strong evidence.

It turned out that almost half of the "well-off" Muscovites on average receive a salary no higher than the rest of the country. The fact is that the high level of average wages in Moscow was formed exclusively at the expense of those 0.8% of its residents who earn from 500 thousand rubles a month to "infinity", while the rest receive the same as other Russians. But the prices in the capital are significantly higher than the all-Russian...

In addition, despite the fact that Moscow is one of the three leaders in wages among all Russian regions, the average pension in the city does not even reach the top ten, being inferior, among other things, to St. Petersburg. Moreover, the ratio of the average pension to the average salary in Moscow is the lowest in Russia!

And finally, about half of the capital's pensioners are poorer than regional pensioners, since they receive a pension lower than the national average, and every 20th person receives even half or even less. But it delivers much more money to the all-Russian pension boiler to Moscow than all the others. By the way, the largest average pensions are received by the regions where the “northern allowances” are paid.

So, everyday life is out of the question about any wealth of Moscow.
