Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, called the share of those who received immunity to COVID-19 a high indicator. According to her, there are 43-44% of such kind of people now.

"We systematically measure the level of population immunity - 43-44% of Muscovites have antibodies G on average. This is a fairly high figure, which allows the city to live an almost normal life with minimal restrictions", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of the deputy mayor of the capital.

Rakova said that in Moscow, about a million residents were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine. About 80% of them also received the second component of the drug. Moreover, almost every second vaccinated person is over 60 years old.

Earlier, the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin noted that the epidemiological situation in the city is improving. Starting from March 8, the self-isolation regime for people over 65 and suffering from chronic diseases has been canceled in Moscow.

At the same time, Sobyanin clarified that the mask regime in the city will probably have to be maintained until the summer. He noted that the situation, first of all, depends on the rate of vaccination and the formation of herd immunity.
