From April 1 to July 15, 134,650 Russians will be called up for military service

According to the presidential decree, citizens aged 18-27 who are not in the reserve and do not have delays or other valid reasons established by law are called up for military service. The spring conscription will begin on April 1 and will last until July 15, thus the ranks of the Armed Forces are planned to be replenished by 134,650 people, but approximately the same number of those who have served a year of service will be transferred to the reserve.

According to the decree of the President of Russia of 2017, the total staffing of the country's Armed Forces is 1,903,000 people, the staffing of the military is 1,013,000 people, 7.1% of them are women.
