A man died in an explosion in a residential building in Tatarstan

According to the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin, the decision on the emergency was made in connection with the disruption of the life support of the population. After all the restoration work has been carried out, the regime will be canceled.

Now all the tenants from the house have been resettled. They are accommodated with relatives, acquaintances, and about 20 people are in a temporary accommodation center.

Khabibullin emphasized that there can be no talk of settling in the house now, and the decision on the fate of the building and living in it will be made after a full examination.

As a reminder, the explosion collapsed seven apartments on two floors. According to preliminary data, the supporting structures were not damaged. Rescuers continue to search for people under the rubble.

Presumably, the explosion was caused by a domestic gas leak. The prosecutor's office checks the safety of gas equipment in the house.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article on causing death by negligence.
