Fraudsters steal data of bank customers under the guise of making a deposit

Fraudsters have come up with a new way to deceive Russians. They offer bank customers to arrange a deposit at a high interest rate. To do this, you need to go to the alleged link of the online bank and enter the real data from your account. RIA Novosti reports.

If the victim behaves, the fraudster will receive data from the online bank. Experts explain that many bank clients are no longer subject to divorce when they need to provide a code from SMS. Therefore, malefactors are forced to come up with new ways to "divorce" citizens. At the same time, Russians may not see anything suspicious in a tempting offer for a high deposit rate and not understand that they are entering credentials on a fake page.

The Central Bank says that in the past year, the interest of fraudsters has shifted from bank cards of citizens to their accounts and deposits - as there is more money. The regulator advises, under no circumstances, to disclose the details of your card to strangers or transfer money at their direction, whoever they introduce themselves.
