Yekaterina Martynova is one of the victims of the Skopinsky maniac Viktor Mokhov, who was released from the colony a month ago and received state protection. She told Mash about this, but did not elaborate on the details, referring to the state secret.

“I feel absolutely calm and safe”, - Martynova said, adding that now she is sure that Mokhov will not come close to her. Her children and husband also fell under state protection.

It's worth reminding that on March 3, 2021, Mokhov, at the age of 70, was released, having rewound a 17-year sentence. In the early 2000s, he kept two young girls in the basement for more than three years, regularly raping them. Having freed himself, the maniac gave an interview to Ksenia Sobchak, in which he said that he still harbors feelings for Martynova and would not mind talking to her. Mokhov also noted that another victim was never able to have children after his release from captivity, in connection with which the maniac was ready to help her, since she became pregnant three times from him.

After this interview, Martynova said that she feared for her life, and wrote a statement to the investigative committee. In her opinion, Mokhov did not repent of what he had done, so he must remain behind bars.
