Media learned about the imminent resignation of the head of North Ossetia

The publication, citing a source close to the presidential administration, reports that Bitarov will resign in the near future. Another source close to the leadership of the region confirmed that the issue of the head's resignation has already been resolved.

At the same time, the press service of the North Ossetian government claims that Bitarov will not resign.

"We work as usual. No resignation. We have a normal regime, the head came from Moscow. Now he works here in the republic", - said the press service of the republican government.

Recall that Bitarov has been the head of the region since 2016. Then, in February, he was appointed temporary acting, and in September he got rid of the prefix "acting"

April 7 it became known that the Russian President Vladimir Putin sent to dismiss the head of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool. After that, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, United Russia Sergei Morozov, resigned. In his place was temporarily appointed senator from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Aleksey Russkikh.

In mid-March, the Minchenko Consulting holding published another rating of governors' stability, including the head of Tuva Kara-ool, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov and the head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov in the so-called “resignation list”.
