After the traffic slowed down, the social network removed 1.9 thousand out of 3.1 thousand prohibited materials, the department reported. Roskomnadzor gave Twitter time until May 15 so that the social network could remove all prohibited content. Until that time, the traffic of the social network will be slowed down. If by this time the social network has not removed the rest of the content, it will be blocked, threatened by Roskomnadzor.
