Inhabitants of the Sredneuralsky nunnery who need humanitarian or other assistance will be provided by the diocese", - the diocese said in a statement.

They added that the sisters would be received "with heartfelt love and care" in any monastery of the metropolis.

"We offer, as before, monastics to choose any monastery of the Yekaterinburg Metropolis to continue their monastic work", - the material says.

The Yekaterinburg diocese noted that they did not absolve themselves of responsibility for the "insufficiently tough" position towards the leadership of the monastery. It was because of her, according to representatives of the diocese, that the decoration of the monastery buildings took place too slowly and without observing the necessary formalities.

Today it was reported that the bailiffs received a court decision banning the residence of people on the territory of the Sredneuralsky monastery, which was previously controlled by the former schema-hegumen Sergius (Nikolai Romanov), who is currently under arrest. He is accused of inducement to suicide, violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion, as well as arbitrariness. However, he denies his involvement in the commission of crimes.
