More than 20 people killed in a bus accident in Egypt

According to AR, referring to the statement of the authorities, the accident happened 320 km from Cairo. Most of the bodies were burned in the fire. Both drivers are among the dead.

The publication notes that at the same time in the Sharqia province in the north of the country, 15 people were injured as a result of a train derailment.

Let's remind that two weeks ago from a train collision near Cairo two dozen people were killed, another 1999 were injured. The human factor was named as the cause of the accident.

The AR indicated that thousands of citizens die every year in road accidents in the country. In 2019, about 10 thousand accidents happened in Egypt, which claimed the lives of 3.5 thousand people.

The reason for such a high accident rate is speeding and poor road conditions.
