A user account on the "Gosuslug" portal will be created by default upon any application to government agencies, including upon the birth of a child and obtaining a passport.

This innovation was proposed by the Digital Citizen Profile (CPG) project, Vedomosti reports.

The responsible working group "National Innovation System" is responsible for its development. Which is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

So far, in order to create a profile on "State Services" (Gosuslugi), a citizen is required to inform the full name, phone number, e-mail almost, SNILS and passport data. After that, you should go through identification at the MFC or using a banking application. After completing these procedures, the entry is considered confirmed and the user gains access to the portal services.

In the third quarter of this year, an updated version of "Gosuslug" will start working, meanwhile it has been launched in test mode. The head of the Ministry of Digital Science Maksut Shadayev indicated that in this version a new format of interaction with users will be applied.

The passport of the project for creating a digital profile also speaks of plans to restart the Unified Biometric System. Rostelecom, as a concessionaire, will invest 6.6 billion rubles by 2030 in the collection of biometric casts - face and voice - of about fifty million Russians.

In 2020, the number of calls to "State Services" almost doubled, and the number of registered users turned out to be more than 75 million.

On April 12, it was reported that State Services will launch six more services by the end of 2021.

With the start of mass vaccination against coronavirus through the "State Services" began to accept applications for participation in the vaccination campaign. After receiving the second dose of the drug, users' personal accounts automatically receive electronic certificates of vaccinations, drawn up in two languages at once - Russian and English, while the English version of the certificate includes data not from an internal, but from a foreign passport. In the long term, this will make it easier for travelers to travel abroad to those countries where the Russian vaccine is recognized.
