During my work as a senior researcher at the State Geological Museum named after V. I. Vernadsky of the Russian Academy of Sciences I have seen many geological samples, including various kinds of fossils. The eye was trained and learned to confidently recognize the petrified objects of living nature. I would like to share an interesting observation that I made while studying photographs from the camera of the Perseverance rover.
In the photo from April 15, the rover recorded a stone object with a regular comb structure. At high magnification, it can be seen that the comb resembles a row of teeth located on the upper jaw of some creature. The picture became clearer when I highlighted the entire dentition in white. I also outlined the alleged fossil and color-enhanced some of the lines visible in the original photo. Slightly increased the contrast of the triangle at the left edge of the fossil. As a result of such an artistic reconstruction, the head of an inhabitant of Mars, similar to a dinosaur, appeared before the eyes. The teeth of the lower jaw are probably also visible in the photograph, but they barely protrude from the ground.
The petrified head of a Martian is distinguished by a relatively small cranium, close-set small eyes, developed massive jaws, equipped with strong, thick, short teeth, triangular nostrils. The total number of teeth on both jaws was probably close to thirty, that is, it was comparable to a human. Interestingly, the teeth of the creature are very different from the teeth of terrestrial dinosaurs (long, frequent and sharp). Most likely, the inhabitant of Mars was not a dangerous predator, which confirms the absence of long fangs. However, his food was quite tough, requiring strong jaws and very strong teeth. An additional argument in favor of the head fossil is its proportions, in which the rule of the golden ratio is found. Indeed, by measuring the length of the upper jaw with teeth, one can make sure that it is about 60 percent of the total length of the oblong skull. The rule of the golden ratio is widespread in nature and is one of its markers.
If we assume that the evolution of life on Mars and Earth followed approximately the same path, then a bold thought suggests itself. It is possible that the Perseverance rover captured the photo of the most ancient ancestor of the failed Martian man, a kind of "dinosaur monkey" who died and stopped in development due to a cosmic catastrophe. This interpretation of the fossil is supported by the noticeable roundness of the skull, the shape and number of teeth.
The fossil with all its appearance confirms that the habitat on Mars in ancient times was practically no different from that of the earth. The planet had a transparent, dense atmosphere and representatives of the Martian fauna could see and breathe. There was enough water around for vegetation to grow on the planet. In turn, the vegetation was sufficient to provide the food chain for the animal kingdom, including large individuals.
Of course, all of the above makes sense if the image obtained by the rover is not an optical illusion. In the case of confirmation of the fossil, important conclusions will follow. Firstly, life on Earth will no longer be considered unique and another planet will appear in the solar system, on which traces of developed life activity will be recorded. Secondly, it will become clear that life on Mars was not much different from that on Earth, and the inhabitants of the neighboring planet were similar to the inhabitants of the Earth. Thirdly, the entire worldview of mankind will change, which until now felt completely alone in the Universe.
Finally, people will need to seriously think about the danger of cosmic catastrophes, after which the blooming and seething life of the Earth can turn into a lifeless Martian desert. It should not be forgotten that the Perseverance rover is aimed at Mars in order to investigate the Jezero impact crater. And if in the photo the occipital part of the petrified head seems to have been cut off with a razor, then this is not surprising. This is a confirmation of an explosion of terrible power, in which fragments of rock scattered at cosmic speed and cut off everything in their path. A petrified head with a sharply delineated trauma is the best proof that the deaths of dinosaurs on Earth and on Mars were caused by the same cause - the fall of a large cosmic body.
